Medium Rare, Inc. is a media services company creating original content and exploiting existing brands for interactive and traditional delivery. Medium Rare provides concepts, treatments, prototypes, project management and production services for traditional and advanced media.
 

Six years of media development has given rise to an effective set of tools and technology, with wide applications to publishing ventures of all types. Key tools include engines for interactive education, for CD-ROM and Internet delivery of media, for securing intellectual property, and a variety of direct response and guerilla marketing tools. Medium Rare allows publishers and media companies to utilize these tools and to short-circuit their own development cycle. By leveraging research and development already accomplished by Medium Rare, publishers can create advanced media applications -- cheaply and quickly.
 

Keith Halper is the president of Medium Rare, Inc. Halper was Chief Operating Officer of online community provider CyberSites (proprietors of The Vines Network) and head of Corporate Development for Warburg-Pincus backed Sticky Networks. Mr. Halper was also one of the founders of Simon & Schuster Interactive and managed the design, development and production of key multimedia titles for the world's largest print publisher. Halper was Executive Producer of the best-selling Star Trek series of CD-ROMs, as well as the unique fast-action/interactive-movie hybrid "SSN" with author Tom Clancy.

Halper's background is in philosophy, creative writing and technology management. He holds a bachelor in philosophy from Princeton University. He was a finalist for Producer of the Year in 1995 from Multimedia Producer magazine and is an honorary "Plank Owner" of the US Navy's nuclear attack submarine, USS Cheyenne.
